the central a/c condenser iced up on the freon line outside now that the ice is gone is there anything that needs to be done to it to keep it from doing it again. Judy 2

Get some coil cleaner and follow the manufacturers directions. A dirty condenser cleaned by the homeowner on a regular basis will help on that electric bill too. The inside coil needs cleaning too but you need to get the non rinse stuff for that. If you have some guages the low side should be around 68 PSI.

unit could be low on freon as well, however as stated a clean unit is a must.
