Hi Joe, I have the voltage tester now, but just want to make certain that I understand what you are asking. With the 220 current plugged in, I should remove the connector with the black wire (right side of ERC) and connect my meter (red wire probe) to the terminal for which the black wire was running? If so, what do I touch the black probe to, the chassis of the stove? Sorry to ask such simple questions, but with that much juice, I don't want a jolt. Thanks, Jim

Thanks, Jim Jim, You're on the right track, Turn the power off, disconnect the wires from the bake and broil terminals on the board. Check for 120 VAC from the empty terminal to Chassis Ground, Repeat the same test on the Broil terminal. This will tell you if we have a bad control, or not. We can go from there to the other components in the circuits. :) :) :)

Yes, After you turn off power, remove the wire terminals, and set you meter probe on/to chassis ground, you will need to power up the range, make a temperature selection (Bake cycle), then check for the voltage out of the control terminal. Then repeat the same procedure, but select Broil cycle. If we get the 120 Volts out of the control terminals on both checks, we move on to the other checks. :) :) :)
