mainzy,
It can not be 0 or ∞ reading because the control should read it and show an error code. You probably did something wrong while measuring the sensor resistance. You have to double check the Ohm meter setting and redo the measuring more careful accordingly to the article from my previous post.

You're right I did not zero out correctly the reading this time was 1.1 ohms
I explained it better in a post titled multimeter. If you get time could you please take a look at that post and give me your thoughts.
