Or does it have a mellow orange color. If it looks orange it probably is weak. It needs to put out 3.5 amps to open the safety valve and release the gas. If it is weak you can sometimes kick the stove and it will ignite. Change the Ignitor SublimeMasterJW attached the following image(s):
