My dryer turns on and has very low heat, even when the setting is on the highest heat. Any suggestions what is wrong with it? :)

Orik,

Have you checked your exhaust venting and lint filter for excessive lint build up ?

That could give you the impression of a low temperature, be cause it is overheating and turning the burner off.

There are several other possibilities, bad temperature switch, bad bias heater, being a gas unit you could also have a weak coil, cracked igniter, etc.

Check the exhaust vent an hood for build up first, then we can go from there.
