Our 2 year old Jenn-Air just stopped in the middle of cooking. There is no power , no led display or anything. Checked fuse and it is ok. Am waiting to get a 20Kohm resistor to discharge capacitor before proceeding any further. Any thoughts on what would cause this besides the obvious blown fuse, not power at the outlet etc. Already checked those. Would also appreciate breakdown and wiring diagram if available. Thanks in advance. dwa

No ideas or thoughts on why there is absolutely no power? Any ideas?

The microwave just quit in the middle of cooking. There was no power to the microwave (light, cooking, display etc). Checked the outlet and it was good, plugged into another outlet with same results -- no power. Opened cabinet and pulled fuse and it was fine. Attempted to discharge the capacitor and checked it and the attached diode. Capacitor had no juice in it when I discharged it. On checking the capacitor, there was infinite resistance no matter how I placed the ohm meter leads. Also, infinite resistance on the diode no matter how the leads were connected (diode was disconnected from capacitor and case when checked). Checked wiring from the plug to the small circuit board (power board? - p/n Samsung SN-UF11B) and wiring checked ok. Don't have wiring diagram to check out the board itself. Anyway, my understanding is that the capacitor and diode are more related to the cooking and fuse blowing that to absolutely no power to the microwave. Door switches have not been checked because again they would keep the microwave from cooking, but not from getting power at all to the display and lights. Would appreciate any information/help you can provide. Thank you in advan

have you checked to see if the power cord is good? are you getting power to the board? to check fuse remove from the micro and check continuity, if you check while its attched to micro it will sometimes read it has good continuity when it is blown

dewbrizzle, thanks for the response. Yes, cord checked good. Fuse was removed and checked and it too checked good. I'm trying to get a wiring diagram so I can check further, but having a hard time getting one. I'm reading there should be a diagram with the microwave, but have not found one inside the case anywhere
