My son hooked up my dishwasher after new countertops put in but forgot to turn on the water. I ran a full cycle with no water. Now it does not fill even with the water turned on. Did we burn up the pump or is it a valve problem?:mad:

Check if the float (#15 on the break down diagram) is in the down position and if it's moving freely up & down.

If there is nothing wrong then call Whirlpool for warranty service due to your dishwasher is less than a year old.
