my fridge's defrost not working correctly. freezer is frosting up. It has been repaired 3 times now. First time guy replaced the heater and timer and said if that didn't work, he would have to replace board in back. This was done two times now and it seems that 2weeks to the date each time , the fridge gets warmer and frost builds up. Do not want to go back to this repair man and would not like to put much more money into..already have spent $500. Very annoyed, debating on just buying a new one, any input???

You have to have a simple multimeter to perform the troubleshooting. You can find the instructions as well as the part numbers in one of our previous threads: http://forum.appliancepartspros...igerator-too-warm-3.html in the reply addressed to bohemian.

Here are the breakdown diagrams and Replacement parts for General Electric GSH25JSTASS Refrigerator | AppliancePartsPros.com
