While washing a load of towels, my washer stoped working. I think it finished it's cycle, but it will not start again. It's a front load wahser. When I try to run a cycle, I hear the door lock, but all I her is a humming sound with no movement or water filling. I tried reseting the breaker and leaving the washer sit for over an hour before trying again; no luck. Is there anything else I can check or do? Is this somehthing I can fix myself?

It turns out that something got stuck in the motor, which stopped the motor from turning. To fix it, it was just a matter of opening the botttom of the washer, unhooking the hose that is connected to the motor and checking and removing the items. If you have a wetvac it will be helpful to clean up the water.
