My Maytag front end loader stopped midcycle with water not completely drained and has been frozen and locked shut. I tried everything the manual said. Held On/Off button for over 2 minutes. Did not unlock. I even unplugged it for an entire day and it still wont unlock. Held wash selection dial for over 2 minutes. Did not unlock. Display has error OE which is not in the manual. I can't get in touch with Maytag help line because they are closed until Monday. My clothes have been sitting in the washer for 2 days now. Can some one offer help?

I have the exact same machine and have a lot of manuals. I do not know how the attatch these manuals but if you want to check out "wiring harness?" in the forum The links are on there. They were very helpful.
the error code OE is describe as this. A fault is detected in the water level sensor. Data (frequency) shows the water level is at or above the overflow level. In the manual it says to check to make sure the water valve is not stuck. If water valve is ok check water level sensor.
As far as the door lock goes, my machine did the same thing and I took the top off and unplugged the relay for the door lock sensor. (It is a tight spot.) Make sure the machine is unplugged. Then plug the relay back in and give that a try. I hope this is helpful.

Ur problem sounds similar to mine awhile back. Check out the 'wax motor' possibilities. Again, may not have any connection to ur trouble but wax motor does affect locking door. U can search maytag neptune repair kit and it will talk about replacement. it is quite easy
