My Whirlpool Thin Twin has developed a problem where in the middle of a cycle, the timer stops advancing. It does this no matter which cycle you choose, as far as I can tell. The dryer continues to run on high heat until you turn the timer dial to a stop position.
Do I need a new timer or is it something else?
