Using the Fluke 114,and disconnecting wires going to the thermal fuse, I touch the posts on both sides and reading is OL. I think this means zero Ohms- does this sound right?

No, I think 0L on most meters is an open not a short.

Just short your meter leads together, this will show you what 0 ohms should look like.

Got a replacement thermostat fuse and it worked. Took out the microcomputer and replaced with old one and its still works, so this was due to the thermal fuse. Mine was due to the thermal fuse, so maybe your is as well?
I must have been reading the meter wrong when testing that part earlier.
denman- you were right, the fuse was broken so it was wide open. Thanks!!!

Thanks. I check the thermostat and it was 0 ohms
