I have ordered and received a water inlet valve together with the solinoids. The old valve had compression fittings and the new valve has "insert fittings". It appears that the existing tubing is too large to fit into the new insert fitting.
What do I do now?

The ice maker water line tube is always 1/4" and the water dispenser line tube is always 5/16". This sizes are standard for all refrigerators. Gene.
