I have a Frigidaire dishwasher that isn't filling with water. I replaced the water inlet valve and it still didn't fill. I tested both the new and old valve for continuity and both did NOT have continuity. Neither did the main circulation pump, so I replaced it too. Still doesn't fill with water. But I know the new pump works because if I manually put water in, the pump sprays the water. Could I have received a bad valve as a replacement?

If the model number of your appliance could be provided, this will allow the most accurate information to be presented.
