Replaced my overload/relay switch with part number 12002794 on my Maytag MSD2732GRS. It worked for about 8 days then it went out again. Same problem as before....buzzing and then a click.. Should I re-order the part and try it again? Or am I destined to have the same problem occur? Do I need to replace something else? Thanks for such speedy responses from all you experts..:)

The start device in this kit, the black, square thing is very reliable, have never seen one fail. If you have a meter, it should measure 5 to 10 ohms at room temperature. If ok, and you wired in the run capacitor (if it had one), you now probably have a damaged start winding in the compressor. This probably got damaged by a power surge. In the future, best to put a 1000 joule surge protector in the fridg wall outlet.
