My front left large cook top element is not always controlable. When the control knob is on low the element is cooking on high. I have to turn it off and back on to control element again. Sometimes this works and sometimes it doesn't. Could the control switch be bad or might it be in the circuit board? Everything else functions properly. If it is the switch, is the part no. AP3095444? It sounds to me like you're on the right track. I'd say it is the switch and the one you have picked out is for the large 8 inch element. So all you need to do is order it and replace. Good luck.:)
