A tech said I needed to replace the control board inside the console, only problem is I can't seem to open the console. Can you explain how to open the console?

Before you replace a control board you might not need, check the thermal fuse on the blower housing. Take the bottom front panel off, and of course unplug the dryer, and stick your head in on the right side, and look hard left, sitting on the blower housing you will see the thermal fuse, it is the white part, round, with 2 wires going to it. If you want, take the 2 wires off, and put the ends together, and put some tape around them, so they don't hit metal, plug the dryer in, and see if it works.
