I have a GE Nautilus dishwasher that is 4 yrs old. The water will not drain out of the tub. The cycle begins with the water filling and then does not drain. I cleaned the hose line going into the garbage disposal and there is no air gap. Any ideas?

Here are the parts which you have to check: The piston & nut assembly (#564 on the break down diagram), the drain hose for a clog and/or twist or bend, the check valve (#560 on the break down diagram) for a clog, the drain solenoid (# 497 on the break down diagram). To check some of these parts the dishwasher has to be removed from the cabinet. Here are the break down diagrams for the GE dishwasher Model GSD3400G00CC, similar to yours. Gene.

My problem is there doesnt seem to be enough pressure to clean dishes.
