How do I remove the worm gear int the gearcase to replace the Input Shaft Oil Seal Kit?

Sears sent two replacement seals, one is black (seen from the outside) and a red one with a smaller inside diameter that I think must me behind the black seal?

Would you have a suggestion on the best way to remove the old seal(s)?
