My dryer has no heat though it works otherwise. I think I have narrowed it down to the heating element being burned out. I have taken it completely apart but cannot remove the drum. There are no screws 6 inches from the floor on either side and there is no rear access panel. I have removed the belt from the pulleys and the yellow clip from the front. What am I missing? thanks

reach inside the drum and hit it upward hard, the brum has a ball on it that sits in a socket, you need to get it up and out of the socket

I would check the thermal limiter and see if it is open, it's the small device on the top right hand side of the heater assembly if the heater is good
