It has a heating element in the oven that keep burning red although the oven and all burners are set to off. The clock works but we disconnected the electricity for safety. I am now using the burners manualy. I do not know if the oven works. I am afraid to test. What can be the problem? Although the gasrange is more than 10 years old, it is:(in very good condition.

Most likely the problem is a bad oven thermostat which is probably shorted. - The part number for the oven thermostat is AP205872 Here are the break down diagrams for the Admiral range Model 676WM-KSVWGene.
