GE Side-by-side water dispenser drips constantly after each use. I disassembled and cleaned the parts in the door; cannot find anything obvious.
I ordered a new water valve AP2071735 (WR57X10023) with the suspicion that it is not closing completely. If this doesn't solve the problem is the next likely culprit the circuit board for the dispenser?

I have the same problem. Have not tried replacing the valve yet. My GE fridge is about 18 mos. old. Let me know if replacing the valve works. By the way when I lock the system, the valve does not leak. this makes me suspicious that it is more than just the valve.
