the ice maker won't stop working. pumps out ice continuosly unless water supply is turned off. on/off switch inside freezer need replaced? has a little "electric eye" looking thing right below it. I've had to unfreeze lines before because of lack of ice, but never had one spazzing like this.

If you are not able to turn the ice maker "off" manually and/or it does not turn itself "off" automatically when the ice bin is full of ice then the optic PC boards (emitter & receiver) have to be replaced. They are located on both sides of the freezer liner.

- The part number for the PC boards kit is AP3137510
