I have whirlpool model GU1200XTLQ0 and I have problem with water not spraying from the lower and upper arm, what I’ve read is it’s probably the impeller section, so I taking the whole thing apart, I ordered the new part, not here yet, but how does the impeller that’s on the motor come apart, I read you have brake because it’s glued on, so my question how does the new goes on the motor, do I have to order the glue

Thanks for you’re help

Does the pump turn and move easy. Are u sure you just did not have some junk in the chopper area. Which would block the water from reaching the pump. Really have not seem to many pumps go bad. Motors yes. Check the chopper area for junk.

Thank for the reply, yes to answer your question the motor is running fine but the copper was clogged with junk, but the impeller has plastic part that connects to the copper section to rotated, do to the junk it worn out the plastic, so I had to replace it, but my problem was the new impeller hole was made for (.2 inch) screw but the shaft of the motor is (.3 inch in diameter), so I had to enlarge using 5/16 TAP and everything is fine,
