washer showed error code F-50. trouble shooting said to replace main control board, so I ordered a new board with you. My old board p/n is W10104820, the new board from you is p/n W10188476 Rev.A when I plug in the new board, and turn on power, I get an error code F-2 now. That code means control board user interface error. What should I do? Your site shows the two boards as the same, and visually they do look exactly the same. Is there some sort of reset to get the interface to recognize the new board? Thank for any help.

Hi Rod, Did you perform all tests as recommended in the tech sheets to diagnose the cause of the "F-50" fault code? If you did - post the results. If you did not - how did you know that the control board is bad? Gene.

Rod, Looks like Whirlpool provided wrong part number cross over for this control board. According to Sears data base, per the model number you posted, the right part number for this control board is W10201186 which is Appliance Parts Pros item number AP4355605. You have to contact Adam from Appliance Parts Pros customer service and he will help you to exchange this part. Gene.

Thanks Gene, that's what I thought. I've started a return process, but they haven't emailed me back yet with the RMA. I'll try directly with Adam. Keep up the great work. You're priceless to this forum!!!:D:D:D:D:D

Hi, I've got a slightly different problem with my Kenmore washer. The model is 110.27082603. Over the weekend it started behaving very different. Tried doing some laundry over weekend and needless to say it didn't run very well. I selected Towels/Sheets and once it started it kept toggling back and forth between 45 minutes/no spin to 58 minutes/2nd spin. I stopped the machine. Early this morning, washer was beeping - got up and display was flashing F2 - user interface - is it the control board (same # as what's already been mentioned in thread) or user interface board? Have done some calling around and the consenses is control board. Thanks in Advance, Ray

Hi Gene, Thanks for the quick reply. This morning I tried to run another Towel/Sheet wash. Initial display was 45 minutes/no 2nd spin. I did not press any buttons on the front and the display went to 60 minutes with a 2nd spin then a minute or 2 later it went back to 45 minutes/no spin. It sounds to me like it's the control board since I didn't touch any buttons. I've got Sears scheduled to come out tomorrow but I am a DIYer so if you have the controller, I'd rather order the part and cancel the appt since I'd be paying the tech for something that I already know what's wrong. BTW, would you have a tech sheets for this model washer? Thanks in Advance, Ray
