Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 6/12/2008(UTC) Posts: 1		The on/off light indicator wont shut off even if all of the stove top cooking elements are off. I replaced a cooktop element control switch as the old one burnt out but the light still remains on.:eek:

Remove the power from the range, open the control panel and remove the pilot wires from all switches. Check for continuity across the L1 & P terminals on each switch while the switch is in "off" position. Switch with closed circuit should be replaced. - The part number for the LF or RR burner switch is AP2023854 - The part number for the RF or LR burner switch is AP2023620 Gene.
