The freezer was not cooling correctly so I cleaned the coils at the bottom behind the grill, however, the brush I was using must have hit the compressor fan (or something in the far left corner - as I was facing the fridge) as it started to make loud noises, the noise would stop for about 10 minutes, start again, etc. but after about an hour it stopped completely. The wall divider between the fridge and freezer (at the front) then became very hot to touch even though the fridge was still running and was cooling. Do I need a new compressor start device kit and if so can that be installed by an an ordinary person like me?:)
