Well, the fridge is 5+ years old, so I am guessing the warranty is long gone. So I replaced the board ($80 local) and everything worked fine!
Then, I moved it downstairs to my basement. I used a hand-truck and walked it around to the back of my house and into the basement. Had to take the doors off to make it though the sliding glass door in back. Didn't lay it on its side, just tilted at a modest angle (at most 45 degrees).
After a couple of days, I plugged it in and it doesn't work now!?! I read that you have to be careful about the oil in the compressor getting into the evaporator coils, but most people say that you just need to let it settle for a few hours before plugging it in to let the oil drain back down.
Everything turns on (compressor, fans, etc), just the coils don't frost up at all and the temp in both freezer and refridge stay at ~80C.
Any help? Do I need a recharge of the coolant?
