My ice maker does not seem to be filling with ice. Normally you can hear the water running into it, but not lately. It looked like a little water had run into it and stopped. Then the arm never rotated it out. My husband took it apart and said it looked like a little piece of ice was stuck, he then freed it and since nothing else has happened. Any help would be greatly appreciated. THANK YOU

add water with a cup directly into the cube compartment. If it works for that load it is either a stopped up supply line or there is no water getting to the ice tray.

Hi Shelly,

You can find the complete instructions in one of our previous posts: http://forum.appliancepartspros...-maker-quit-working.html

After you will do it, post the results.

Here are the break down diagrams for the Whirlpool refrigerator Model ED2CHQXKQ05

Hi Gene, I just now got your message. I tried what Owen said with putting the water in and seeing if it would freeze and rotate the ice out and it did not. After that I was just going to go buy another ice maker.

Thank you both for your input.
