Which way does the spin tube thrust washer face? (AP2905330)There is a tab on it, does it face towards the transmission or drum? What purpose does it serve? Thanks, Rick

That's really the spindle washer, goes on the tranny shaft to cover the c clip, recessed side towards tranny.

I took the tranny apart, and looked around inside, nothing seems worn or broken at first glance, but it makes a ratcheting or clicking noise during the spin cycle, and the agitator turns a little during spin. If I lift up or grab the agitator the noise stops. It is easy to stop the agitator during the spin. This happens with the tranny out or in the machine with the agitator on. I also just put in a neutral drain kit that did not help. Any suggestions? Thanks, Rick

If you filled the tranny with oil, it probably is OK. I have seen this problem before and it really should not be a problem.

Either your motor is smoking, or you have a bad clutch.
