when the washer is in the spin cycle it makes a loud noise. just wondering if it could be the bearing going out. have also had a problem getting grease on clothes. please help

Remove the front panel and check for water leak from the central seal. Also check the belt.

Also, put the washer in spin and hold the spin basket from turning, if you still get a bearing noise, you have a bad transmission.
