Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 5/6/2008(UTC) Posts: 3		Excessive grinding/growling noise during spin cycle. Escalates as the rpms increase. Sounds like a bad bearing. Machine is approx 18 months old. Any suggestions?

This is rather rare, unless the washer is really old.

If the spin bearing is bad, is this a difficult repair? I am a Machinist by trade and rebuild autos as a hobby.
