Stopped freezing. Cleaned it up and blew out dust, etc by compressor. Compressor is warm. Restarted it and it freezes a small portion of shelf where detector coil is. Won't freeze rest of shelve(s). No sound at all, but there never was, even when working properly. Is this a low freon problem?

Yes it does sound like a low freon problem.
Confirm that the compressor is running all the time, you should be able to feel it vibrating.

If it does run continuously then I would say it is low freon.

Probably bets to get a new unit.
Threre is no use adding freon unless the leak can be found and repaired.
This will be expensive as you will need a pro.
