dryer quits running keeps counting down the time. if you turn it off then back on does the same thing it beeps like it going to start, but doesn't it just counts down the time left on the cycle.

Very likely the problem is a bad thermal fuse or a bad broken belt switch.

Perform the test #2 as described in the Tech sheet. Post the results.

Hello Gene, the "Tech Sheet" link is dead. It goes nowhere. where can I find the tech sheet for a Senseon dryer (GEW9868KL0). I have the same problem with my dryer. It will not run, but the timmer will count down and beep like it just finished drying. Also when you hit start, it clicks like it's going to start, but does nothing but count down.

Remove the front bottom access panel and check the belt. Replace the belt if it's broken.
