Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 4/2/2010(UTC) Posts: 1		Within the past week we have been experiencing marks and holes on our clothes from the dryer. The dryer is also quite loud and seems to have a grinding sound. The tumber seal looks to be a possible issue are there other items I should also investigate? The dryer is about 10 years old, can we expect another 10 years or is it approaching the end of life? Thank you.

While you have it opened up you may as well check all moving parts for wear. Basically give it an overhaul. Give the interior a good cleaning including the blower wheel. Also clean/check your vent system. I cannot see why you should not get at least another 5+ years out of it.
