Hi, I have a Amana fridge that is only 3 years old.
The fridge and the freezer (bottom) is still working fine but I can hear a few times a day, a click-buzz-click sound.
When I get the sound, the compressor does not start. The buzz sound last for about 3-5 seconds. A few minutes after the sound, the compressor starts normally.
Is there anything I can do before it totally fail, is it already too late ? Thanks for your help.
Note: There is no Ice maker in that fridge.

From what I can see, the buzzing sound comes from the compressor itself. Do you think that a weak relay could make the compressor buzz ? Is there a way to figure out (exept from replacing it) ?
Thanks

I first tried to replace the relay but it was still doing the same thing.
As soon as the compressor whould become a bit too hot, it would not start anymore.
A called the technician and they replaced the compressor.
Thanks for you help.
