Hello,

I bought a near new LG gas dryer, converted it to Propane and added a side venting kit.

My Problem: No Heat.
After the dryer turns on, the Igniter glows (reaches nearly 4 Amp on clamp-meter), then the Propane kicks in and shoots a nice blue torch down the pipe.(for barely 1+ second)
Immediatly when the flame is there the Amp. on the Igniter drops down to Zero and the flame dies.
I have tested the flame sensor and the 2 Temp sensors near the torch for continuity.
This happens with the machine fully assembled and also when I take it apart to get a visual.

Been reading lots here on the Forum , but in most cases there is No Heat at all (instead of a short burst!)

Please help

Does anybody have any suggestions ??

I am wondering if I should bridge the thermo sensors (1 by 1) to see if the flame stays on ? (disconnect the 2 wires from sensor and clamp/tape together)
Is that a good idea to troubleshoot my dryer ?.

Thank You for any input........

I was really hoping that someone here on this forum would be able to give me some advise troubleshooting my dryer.

Maybe my problem is too complicated ??

Maybe the troubleshooters here don't sell parts for my LG dryer and they don't see a way to make money of my problem??

My dryer is near new.....bought about a year ago, used for a few weeks and then was put into storage.
Lucky for me I found an Appliance Expert who suggested me to gently tap the coils on the gas valve as the plunger might be stuck.

Problem solved!!
