my kenmore electric dryer has been acting up, i first noticed that the heat wasnt working (i use the high heat setting and the "timed dry" on the timer,,,,so i took off the back and took off the lint cabinet, cleaned out that and the exhaust vent,,,looked at all the wire, none were burnt or disconnected,, i didnt take the heating elemet box off because i thought i might unplug some wires and not remember where they need to put back,,,so today i tried the dryer and air flow is good inside the dryer and outside at the vent,, still no heat,,, i also noticed that the timer will not move on the "auto dry" and the "air dry",,,which i never use those anyway,, but it does move on the "timed dry" side,,,,so i wanted to know any opinions if it is just the timer, and would a bad timer make the heat not to work,,,,,,or is the heating element bad or would it be both the heat element,,i see online about testing but i dont have the little testers,,oh i also went outside to the fuse box and switched the breaker on and off a few times,, which didnt work in this case,,,,any opinions would be helpful,,thanks:(
