whirlpool duet washer:LAST LOAD EVERYTHING WAS FINE. NEW LOAD, MACHINE LITES TURN ON, CYCLE LITE BLINKS WHILE ALL OTHERS APPEAR NORMAL. DOOR IS CLOSED. WHEN WE PUSH THE START BUTTON, NOTHING HAPPENS REGARDLESS OF CYCLE SELECTED. WE DO NOT HEAR THE DOOR LOCK ENGAGE. machine wont run the dia test, cycle light just flashes in every location ie: heavy-light-whites-rinse etc. Any ideas? I'm able to tear this thing apart, I 'd like a direction to start. Thanks RT

The first thing I would do is unplug the washer for a few minutes and then plug it back. Sometime it helps to eliminate the problem.

You can download the Whirlpool front load washer job aid at web site appliancejunk.com , click on Whirlpool washers, then on the front loader. Sorry, I'm not the computer whiz that Sidfink43 is, best I can do for you. Seems like a door switch problem. You can look at the handy control module pin breakout for all the interfacing wiring such as the door switches. You can acess the service sheet behind the bottom front panel. This might steer you to a bad control module. Good luck.

The CCU does not make any click or sounds at all when I power up the machine. Fundamentaly does this indicate the CCU is bad? I'm thinking this is the culprit, not the door switch.
