My washer is stuck in the agitate cycle. It does not fill with water or anything else. No matter where I set the dial or on what cycle, when I turn it on, it agitates. Was working fine until this.
Please help.

I have the same problem. My GE Profile washer Model WPSR3120w0ww is stuck in the agitate cycle. SOmeone suggested I replace the timer & I did but I still have the same problem. Is there a reset buttom to press after you replace the timer? Also prior to the machine breaking it seemed the machine was going nuts in the spin cycle. Is it off balance as well? The machine was purchased in 1998, but was not used for a 2yr period. It worked fine for the last 4 years so I am not sure if I should just buy a new one or try a few more thing first.
Thanks
