I think that is what you indicated would be the readings?
Thanks Sorry for the delay. There are three switches: two interlock and one monitor. Make sure you tested all of them. Gene.

My Hotpoint, model RVM1435WJ01, microwave will stop and reset after approx 3-12 seconds after turning on, I've tried different power settings, different outlets, everything else works including the lights fans etc, just wont stay running. What seems to be the problem? If the clock resets by itself a few seconds after the microwave started, then the problem is an electromagnetic waves escaping from the magnetron (#36 on the diagram). The correction is to replace the magnetron. - The magnetron Part number: AP3792937

Thank you for the reply. I see now that I missed what now seems obvious that there are three switches. I am re-examining the schematic and do not completely trust my reading of it as I have blown it up but it's still small. I tested the top switch (29) and the switch that is vertically directly below it (29 also?) and is directly connected to the door latch entrance that receives the lower door prong and the leads were not vertical but rather at a slight angle canted toward the back. If I am reading this properly the 3rd untested switch and the one that I did not test is slightly behind or very slightly toward the rear of the unit compared to front most bottom switch. I am going to retest all three ASAP Thanks a million.

I have retested the THREE switches: Arranged topmost to bottom most the results are TOP: Door open reads OPEN. Door closed reads SHORT MIDDLE: Door open reads SHORT. Door closed reads OPEN BOTTOM: Door open reads SHORT. Door closed reads SHORT In looking at the diagram the lower #29 seems to be the lowest most switch physically to me and does not agree with any of your expected results while the top #29 and the middle switch has opposite results so it seems that is #30. I appreciate your time and assistance very much. Clay8191 attached the following image(s):
