I found evidence of water under the right rear of my amana (warped the wood floor ). Removed back panel. No water in drip pan and no water in any visible areas. 1/2 in plastic pipe leads to drip pan but ends about even with the edge of the pan. Should I extend the pipe? Is it possible the drip pan is overflowing?

Yes. Especially if the damage is in the area of the drip pan.

Drip pan overflow may be a symptom of a defrost problem. Occasionally look into the freezer and see if there is any build-up of a snowy frost. If you se some, you most certainly have a defrost issue.

Then it's probably just poor placement of the drip pan in reference to the drain tube.
