This thing has never really cleaned dishes very well and it has gotten worse. Currently the soap door is stuck open I've ordered the part #ap3994610 today from you guys so obviously until that is working properly it's hard to diagnose other issues. I've used cheap liquid soap that seems to be stuck on a lot of the cleaning arms and spray nozzles. Is this normal? Should I diassemble and soak everyhting to break down this stuff and then clean everyhting well. Does the ap3994610 install from the front side? Thanks for the help.

While you're awaiting the part, check the temperature of your hot water.

There's no setting on the machine; but they will clean most efficiently with temperature between 120-150 deg. F. This may not be your problem, but if you're not getting temperature within that range, you may want to adjust your water heater. If you're already in that range, try running a load (without dishes) using Dishwasher Magic
