Hello. I hope this post isn't redundant; I didn't see another about my model number GE GSD4020202BB.

My dishwasher won't drain completely, only partially. It used to drain fine. I have checked the drain hose, the sink disposal, the lower sump and the rear sump areas. I cleared one minor blockage but the problem remains.

I did notice the rear (check?) valve seems to have a flapper component on the top of the spring assembly and this flapper is quite worn. Could this be the problem? I can send a picture if it helps. Sorry if I don't have my terminology correct; I have not located a parts diagram.

Thanks for any assistance you can provide.

Here are your parts.
Body parts replacement parts for General Electric GSD4020Z02BB Dishwasher | AppliancePartsPros.com
Note could not find info on the given model number.
The above is for a GSD4020Z02BB (a Z instead of a 2)

Yes it could.
If the Piston & Nut (Item 564 in Section 2) does not seal during the drain cycle some of the water is directed back into the tub instead of all of it going out the drain.
