I have a refriderator that stops cooling. If I power cycle it by unplugging the AC it starts cooling again, for a short time. I can also get it to start working again by rotating the thermostat off then back on.

Would it start if you tap on the thermostat or jiggle the thermostat knob? If it would, replace the thermostat. If it would not, the problem most likely is a bad ADC board (#4 on the diagram). - The thermostat Part number: AP3084361

You are welcome. I'm glad you were able to fix it. Thank you for the feed back.
