washing machine gets stuck at the start of the rinse cycle in all modes and will not complete the rinse cycle

Sounds like the control board or the speed control board, but it can also be something in the lock assembly. You can check voltage to see if the boards are getting power; if so then you can determine which one is bad.

Use this service manual to see if you can troubleshoot the machine. Also check, clean and reseat the connections at the control board and other places.
