Help.............. My gas oven will not bake or broil. The ignitor clicks as if is it working but no visible spark. Very little gas if any is smelled. Used lighter on broiler to see if tube would light and it did very briefly. The bake didn't work at all. The oven is at least 6yrs old

Sorry Gene, I was on a business trip. The model number is GS440LEMQ. I verified the door switch is functional. After reading another help blog we tested the output of the bake & broil ignitors from the spark module. The 120V suggested was not found. We replaced the spark module and the same problem exists. What have I over looked?

The first thing I would do is check the solenoids on the gas valve/regulator (#15 on the diagram). You can find more instructions and useful information in one of our previous posts: http://forum.appliancepartspros...l-oven-wont-heat-up.html

- The gas valve/regulator Part number: AP3866825
Part number: AP3866825

Here are the breakdown diagrams and Replacement parts for WHIRLPOOL GS440LEMQ0 30" Gas Freestanding Self Clean Range Sealed Burner | AppliancePartsPros.com

Gene.
P.S. Replacing the spark module without proper troubleshooting is very common mistake.
