I have Bosch WFK2401 washer. It is stuck with 1 cycle remaining and the door locked. Nothing is blinking, and the door does not open, even if I turn the power off. If I change the program, it goes through the cycles normally, until 1 cycle remains and then stops. There is no water in the washer. Does anybody know what the problem can be, and at least how to open the door? Thank you

Enter the test program by:
1. Set the cycle knob to any "X" (reset) position
2. Press and hold the Pre-wash and the Start buttons at the same time. While still holding these buttons, turn the unit on by pressing the On/Off button
3. Keep holding the Pre-wash and the Start buttons until the digital display comes on (about 5 seconds)
The digital display will show 00 for no faults or will show a fault code.
To end the test program turn the washer off at any time.
Post the results.
Gene.

The fault code "06" means "Door open or won't lock". Something wrong with the door lock.
I do not know this model good enough to guide your further. Maybe someone else on the forum can help you better.

Using Gene's procedure, I'm coming up with a code 08. Anyone know what that means? By the way, the machine fills and drains but will not agitate. I can hear a faint clicking sound from the top of the washer when it should be spinning Belt is good and motor, drum and belt spin freely. Thanks Steve

Hi Steve, The "08" fault code means "Drum motor won't run". Check how drum rotates. If drum wobbles or won’t move, replace faulty rear bearing. Check voltage at motor connectors when motor is energized. If low or no voltage, replace faulty control module. Check voltage at motor connectors when motor is energized. If ~ 240V, replace faulty drum motor. Check voltage at motor connectors when motor is energized. If voltage doesn’t reverse, replace faulty control module. Originally Posted by: rlmelander I have a similar problem and I get error code 01 any idea what it means? The error code "01" means "no water filling". Make sure the water supply is on and the incoming water pressure is between 14.5 - 145 psi. Measure the resistance of the water inlet valves. The normal reading suppose to be between 2.7 - 3.3 KOhms. If the reading is incorrect, replace the water inlet valves. Check the voltage output to the water inlet valves while they are energized. If no voltage, replace the control module. The model number you posted is incorrect. If you need the correct part numbers, verify the model number and repost it. Gene.
