OK enough is enough already
This type of exchange should be carried on in the more private Tech Talk section.

Am I correct in assuming that John@Fischers is the same person as techoline.fischers ?

If yes, then I would like to say welcome to the forum.
We can use more regular posters here.

As far as I can see richappy fired the first shot with
"Very good and you didn't listen to the "static" from John "
I also would find that comment insulting.

But it was not nice to call him an ahole.

And richappy it was not nice making threats.

So in my opinion both of you are at fault.
So apologize to each other and kiss and make up.

I am going to ask Roman to give techonline.fiscers early admission to the Tech Talk section just in case you both want to continue the diatribe.

Have a nice day and chill out

I Apologize. I was fired on first, but i should have not called anyone a ahole, just was upset. Again, my bad. Thanks for intervening. And yes, can you please delete the techonline.fischers account. I will be using the John @ Fischers. Made a mistake in my registration.

Thanks.

For Denman:
I agree, my comments where a bit harsh. However our job here is about providing fast, correct info to solve a customer's problems. In this case I got a bit upset about "persons" just not giving correct/precise and direct info to fix a problem without unecessary info to waste a customers time. In these troubled times many customers are impatient and not tolerant of being let off the direct path to a timely repair.I am sure in your repair business, you can relate. Many times in my business, I get an impossible work load and some customers are not serviced in a timely manner. I probably loose these customers.
Untill this management says I am wrong, I will continue to, in a professional manner, correct these kind of responses. I do not issue "threats" without justification or due to "ego trip", I issue them basted on protecting this service.

Rich is right on the nose with his diagnosis, it is the motherboard. when the compressor is cold and the fans are running, the board is failing to start compressor. You can test this with a voltmeter. Check for 120VAC at connector J7-9
orange wire to TAB1 / J11 Black wire.
Do you have 120VAC? if ) volts, replace board.

Thanks for your support Fridgdoctor. As a side note, I was hired at Penn. State to do refrigeration and I am responsible for about 100 of these. I advised management to add 1000 joule surge protectors to all of them and now after 3 years, we have had no electronic failures to them!
