I have an Amana SBD21VPSE in my RV. My freezer section is usually about 20+ degrees even when it is on high. The refrigerator side also feels too warm.

It is a pain to get to the back panel. I have to build a cart with wheels and roll the refer out onto the cart and turn it 90 degrees so I can get to the back.

I was wondering if maybe I should just change out the defrost timer and themostat since I believe I can get to them from the front.

Are both of those parts in the plastic box inside the refrigerator that the temperature dials are on? If not, where are they?

I read that I could turn the dial on the timer and see if the compressor comes on. There is also a continuity check isn't there?

Thanks,

Don
